Description
Eden TP-15-41 Pear Sapling (BA 29 rootstock) is a modern pear variety known for its excellent adaptability, very sweet fruit, and long shelf life. Its low chilling requirement makes it suitable for a wide range of climates. All our saplings are certified, true-to-type, and disease-free.
The tree has vigorous growth and shows strong resistance to fire blight disease. It also demonstrates tolerance to pear psylla, reducing maintenance challenges. The BA 29 quince rootstock provides semi-dwarf growth, early bearing, and regular productivity.
This variety adapts successfully from regions with almost zero chilling hours up to 2000 chilling hours. With a chilling requirement of approximately 100 hours, it performs very well in warm climates.
The fruits are medium-sized (60โ75 mm) with an attractive golden-red skin color. The flesh is crisp, crunchy, juicy, and very sweet. With an average 17 Brix sugar level, it offers excellent flavor and premium eating quality. Its shelf life is excellent, making it suitable for storage and transportation.
Ripening occurs between July 20 and August 15, depending on regional climate conditions.
