Description
Şekerpare Apricot Sapling (GF677 rootstock) is one of Türkiye’s most beloved local apricot varieties, known for its intense aroma, very sweet flavor, and premium fresh-market quality. It is especially appreciated for fresh consumption due to its traditional taste profile. All our saplings are certified, true-to-type, and disease-free.
The tree has a vigorous, upright-spreading growth habit with a sparse canopy. The GF677 rootstock provides a strong root system, drought tolerance, and excellent adaptability to different soil conditions. With proper maintenance, the variety delivers high and quality yields.
The fruits are extremely juicy, aromatic, and very sweet. The flesh is soft, flavorful, and pleasantly fragrant. It is highly preferred by consumers looking for traditional apricot flavor.
This variety is self-fertile, meaning it does not require pollinators and can produce regular yields even in single-variety orchards.
Harvest time is between July 1–8. Some stem-end cracking may occur, but the exceptional taste keeps it highly valuable in fresh markets.
