Description
Pricia Apricot Sapling (GF677 rootstock) is a modern early-ripening apricot variety developed by International Plant Selection, known for its high agricultural potential and adaptability to medium and high chill regions. All our saplings are certified, true-to-type, and disease-free.
The tree has a semi-upright growth habit with medium to strong vigor. The GF677 rootstock provides a strong root system, excellent soil adaptability, and good performance under dry conditions. Its broad adaptability allows successful cultivation in many regions.
The fruits are highly attractive with a bright red skin color. They have an elongated shape and strong market appeal. Fruit size falls into the 2A/3A category, with firmness values around 70–75. The flesh is juicy with balanced flavor and pleasant aroma. With a sugar content of approximately 10–12 Brix, it offers excellent fresh eating quality.
The variety blooms late, providing better protection against spring frosts. It is also self-fertile, requiring no pollinator.
Harvest time is around May 18, making it a very early-season variety. It ripens approximately 10 days earlier than Orangered®.
