Scarlet Spur Apple Sapling (M106 rootstock) is a USA-origin spur-type variety belonging to the Red Delicious group. It stands out with its compact growth, intense color, and high market value. All our saplings are certified, true-to-type, and disease-free.
The tree shows weak to moderate vigor with a semi-upright growth habit. Its spur-type (short internode) characteristic results in a compact canopy, making pruning and yield management easier. When grafted onto M106 semi-dwarf rootstock, it develops a strong root system and balanced growth. It is suitable for high-density orchards.
The fruits are medium to large, highly attractive, and deep dark red to burgundy in color. The skin is glossy and durable. The flesh is cream-colored, crisp, juicy, and sweet. Due to its visual appeal and taste, it is widely preferred in both domestic and export fresh markets.
