Description
Gala Apple Sapling (M9 rootstock) is one of the most widely cultivated apple varieties worldwide. It is highly preferred for commercial orchards due to its early bearing, consistent yield, and strong market demand. All our saplings are certified, true-to-type, and disease-free.
This semi-vigorous dwarf apple tree grown on M9 rootstock is ideal for high-density planting systems. Thanks to the M9 rootstock, trees begin fruiting early, and pruning, maintenance, and harvesting become easier. Proper fruit thinning is recommended to ensure consistent annual yields.
The fruits weigh approximately 150β200 grams, featuring a yellow-orange background with distinctive red stripes. The flesh is soft, juicy, and aromatic. Its sweet and low-acid profile makes it highly popular for fresh consumption.
Harvest time is between late September and early October. It can be stored for 3β4 months in cold storage and up to 6β7 months in controlled atmosphere storage.
