Description
Jeromine Apple Sapling (M9 rootstock) is an improved strain of the Red Delicious group, distinguished by its deeper color, stronger aroma, and high market value. All our saplings are certified, true-to-type, and disease-free.
This variety shows medium vigor with a spreading growth habit and has a semi-spur characteristic, resulting in a more compact branching structure. This makes pruning and yield management easier. When grafted on M9 dwarf rootstock, it provides early fruiting and is ideal for high-density orchards.
The fruits are medium to large, conical in shape, with a bright dark red skin. The flesh is white, firm, juicy, and aromatic. Compared to standard Red Delicious varieties, Jeromine offers a richer and more intense flavor profile. It is highly recommended for both fresh consumption and export markets.
Harvest time is between mid-September and early October. It can be stored until February in regular cold storage and up to June in controlled atmosphere (CA) storage.
