Description
Golden Reinders Apple Sapling (M9 rootstock) belongs to the Golden Delicious group and shares similar growth characteristics. It is a high-yielding variety with strong commercial value. All our saplings are certified, true-to-type, and disease-free.
This variety shows medium vigor and, when grafted on M9 dwarf rootstock, begins fruiting early. It is ideal for modern high-density orchards. With proper pruning and maintenance, it produces consistent and high-quality yields every year.
The fruits are medium-sized, sometimes large, and slightly elongated. The skin is yellow-green, turning into a golden yellow color at full maturity. The flesh is white, firm, crisp, and juicy. It has a sweet and mildly acidic flavor with a well-balanced aroma, making it highly desirable for both fresh consumption and commercial markets.
Harvest time is mid-September. It can be stored until February in regular cold storage and up to JuneโJuly in controlled atmosphere (CA) storage, offering excellent storage performance.
It is well pollinated by Granny Smith, Fuji, and Gala varieties.
